A collaboration between Larkspur Designer, Julie MeLeod and Kennebunk-based artist, Piper Castles led to the creation of an information packed 2024 calendar. The themes in the calendar were inspired by the work of Doug Tallamy, and the Homegrown National Park Initiative, the natural beauty and wildlife species of Southern Maine, and the many local groups and organizations encouraging the use of native plants and other ecologically-focused solutions. Some themes discussed include stormwater runoff, invasive species, pollinator habitat, native shrubs and trees, feeding birds, and the relationship between native plants and wildlife. Each month offers seasonally appropriate action steps that we can all do in our own spaces.

Calendar dimensions are 8.5” x 11” when closed.
